Grants help businesses get back to basics

More than 50 Moreton Bay small businesses will receive grants of $5000 to help with areas such as areas such as websites, marketing plans or business coaching.

Employment and Small Business Minister Di Farmer says the latest round of the Business Basics grants program is injecting $5000 to each business – a total of $290,000 across the Moreton Bay region.

“Investing in these businesses will help improve and grow their operations and allow them to serve more customers and clients,” Ms Farmer says.

Vital support

“There are so many fantastic businesses across the state being supported this round that demonstrate the diversity in our local communities, industries and economy.”

Kurwongbah MP Shane King says the grants are a vital support for small business owners in a diverse range of industries in the Moreton Bay region.

“I look forward to seeing how other Moreton Bay businesses such as Chilli Coffee in Burpengary to Temple Distillery in Warner and Abundance Dance, Everton to AgKonect, Pumicestone use these grants to grow their operations,” Mr King says.
