Low-maintenance living a way of life

The demand for low maintenance living continues to rise, according to Stockland regional development manager Pauline Barton.

Pauline says buyers across the Redcliffe Peninsula are increasingly recognising the benefits of housing that leaves plenty of time to enjoy the region.

“We’ve seen a huge rise in popularity for turnkey homes – from our more affordable townhomes at Newport and our exclusive retirement living community,” she says.

Idyllic lifestyle

“Each new release has buyers jumping at the chance to claim a slice of that idyllic Moreton Bay lifestyle, in our bayside community on the water’s edge.”

Pauline expects Stockland’s latest release - eight waterfront townhouses with plunge pools and marina berths – to be equally popular.

“These new luxury townhomes have the lake for a backyard – a first for Newport.

“It’s one of the last chances to purchase a lakefront home in Newport’s premium Quay precinct.”

Catering for first home buyers

Each of the four-bedroom townhouses includes a large multi-purpose room, study nook and two living areas, stone bench tops in the kitchen and a wine fridge and steam oven.

The release of the luxury properties, which are priced from $1.19 million, follows the launch of six townhouses aimed at the first home-buyer market.

With three or four bedrooms and two-car garages, the townhouses – priced from $499,000 - meet the criteria for the HomeBuilder and First Home Buyer grants, each of which is $15,000.
