Mobile service centre to visit rural areas
Australian Government mobile service centres will be travelling to rural areas in the Moreton Bay region at the end of June and start of July.
The service centre will visit Dayboro on June 28 and Woodford on July 1.
The purpose of the mobile centres is to ensure residents living in rural or regional areas can access government payment and services easier.
Staff from Services Australia will be present to make sure visitors receive helpful information and friendly support.
Wi-Fi will be available, and staff can help visitors create a myGov account, which is a secure and simple way to access government services online.

There are several services the mobile service centre can help visitors with, including:
- Registering and using services
- New Centrelink claims
- Updating and confirming Medicare and Centrelink information
- Financial information
- Rural payment entitlements for farmers
- Non-cash Medicare transactions
- Updating Medicare cards
- Social work support and referrals
