Peninsula bounced back from a first round defeat to beat Indooroopilly in the new Community Cricket Championship (CCC) at Filmer Park on Saturday.

Cody Pratt, batting at seven, weighed-in with 51 as Peninsula were dismissed for 305 - a target well beyond Indooroopilly.

Bowlers dominate

Bowlers Nick Turner (3-35) and James Smith (3-42), both from 15 overs, and Steve Rees (2-26) helped dismiss the visitors for 163 and earn the points.

Peninsula was 3-55 at the close, but won on first innings and next travels to Marchant Park to face Napoleons on Saturday at the start of a two-day fixture.
