Redcliffe Show Society Secretary Vanessa McIntyre says it was a great weekend, enjoyed by exhibitors and patrons.

For her, the highlight was a record number of entries in the arts and crafts, poultry and cookery competitions.
Entertainers Dinkum Dinosaurs, who performed at the Redcliffe Show for the first time, were also popular.
“They were so well-received and funny for all ages,” Vanessa says.
“I had several people say we need to have them again.
“The night entertainment was awesome with Eljay BMX stunt rider, Aussie FMX Motocross, Trackskill utes and the fireworks.”
Sunday afternoon was also a highlight with the FAD Cheer and Dance group performing, as well as Mousetrap Theatre.
“It was good to have other community groups come in and showcase their skills. It was really well attended,” Vanessa says.
She says the show had a family friendly environment, with plenty of affordable options.
“We noticed attendance was slightly down and people were spending less but people still wanted to enjoy the free entertainment. The response has been really positive,” she says.
Final attendance figures have not yet been calculated.
