Police round-up: Cars, number plates stolen

Opportunistic thieves stole a red Hyundai Tucson from a home in Leicester Court at Murrumba Downs on November 1.

The 2017 vehicle, with the Queensland registration 081XNA, was taken from the unlocked garage using the keys that were left inside.

A white Hyundai was seen stopping outside the address about 8.30am, and is believed to have been stolen from Greenslopes between 5.10am and 6.45am on November 1.

The Hyundai found in Pilba St, Chermside at 9.16pm on the same day, but the red Tucson is yet to be recovered.

Unlawful entry to motor vehicles

Tools and first aid kits were stolen from two work vehicles at a property in Piper St, Caboolture between 5pm on October 31 and 5.30am on November 1.
