Police round-up: cars stolen, boys charged
A black 2008 Jaguar coupe, Queensland registration MEOW was stolen from a house in Margate Parade, Margate overnight.
The vehicle was stolen from the front of the property between 3.30pm on November 9 and 8am on November 10,
It is believed the vehicle’s keys were removed from a table inside the house.
Youths charged
Two boys from Upper Caboolture were arrested at Bribie Island on November 9 for offences alleged to have occurred at Caboolture and Banksia Beach.
Police allege cash, iPads and a vehicle were stolen from a business in Dickson Rd, Morayfield between 8.45 and 9.10pm on November 6.
They also allege a second offender rode off on a Honda motorcycle that was also at the business.
The motorcycle has since been located, but the white Ford Fiesta hatchback, with Queensland registration 030-WXR, has not been found.
Boys in custody
Two boys have been remanded in custody after an incident on Bribie Island on November 7.
Police say the boys were disturbed by a resident in The Peninsula at Banksia Beach about 9.30pm two boys were disturbed by a resident in The Peninsula, Banksia Beach, allegedly trying to gain access to a vehicle.
Police found one of the boys at the intersection of Bibimula and Verdoni streets at Bellara and the other in a shed at a property in Quail St, Bellara.
A 17-year-old boy was charged with break and enter, two charges of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, two offences of attempted unlawful entry to a motor vehicle, obstructing police and wilful damage.
A 16-year-old boy was charged with break and enter, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and attempted unlawful entry to a motor vehicle.
They were remanded in custody to appear in the Caboolture Childrens’ Court at a later date.
Minor fire
A fire caused minor damage after something was thrown onto the driveway of a property in Bronzewing Court, Deception Bay at 8.42 pm on November 9.
A tarp used to cover property at the front of the property caught fire, causing minor damage.
Police are investigating.
