Police round-up: Stolen cars

Police have urged motorists to secure their cars after almost a dozen vehicles were reported stolen across the Moreton Bay Region so far this month.

Three of the vehicles were stolen from Morayfield, with others taken from suburbs including Caboolture, Newport, Petrie, Strathpine and Mango Hill.

What was stolen

A Silver 2010 Hyundai iMax, registration 527SLE, was stolen from Strathpine on November 11.

This 2012 White Range Rover, registration 021BEC, was stolen from Newport on November 14.

A White 2011 Nissan Patrol utility, registration 015CX6, was stolen from Mango Hill between November 13 and 14.

This White 2010 Toyota Hiace van, registration 039XGV, was stolen from Warner on November 14.

A Black 2006 Mitsubishi Pajero wagon, registration 206JTC, was stolen from Morayfield on November 4.

A White Mitsubishi Triton utility, NSW Registration CS18ZT, was taken from Morayfield on November 6.

This White 2021 Suzuki Vitara wagon, registration RAK46, was taken from Petrie on November 5.

A Black 2017 Yamaha YZF R3 motorcycle, registration 175QP, was stolen from Morayfield on November 15.

A White 2011 Ford Ranger dual cab, registration MUZ283, was stolen from Caboolture on November 14.

A Red 2003 Honda VT1100C motorcycle, registration 793TU, was taken from Kippa-Ring on November 3.

A White 2002 Ford Courier utility, registration 302CX5 was stolen from Lawnton between October 29 and 31. It was last seen at Narangba November 2.

Tips for deterring thieves

  • Remove all valuables from your vehicle
  • Ensure your vehicle is locked
  • Do not leave spare keys in your car
  • Ensure your keys are secured in a safe place out of plain view, even at home
  • Ensure your home is secure.
