Roadworks to avoid in our region
Here is a list of current and planned roadworks to help make your trips around the Moreton Bay Region a little easier.
Duration and completion dates are estimated due to factors which can impact start, progress and finishing the work.

Bald Hills
Gympie Arterial Rd and Bruce Highway - Work on Gympie Arterial Road and Gateway Arterial Flyover. Lanes reduced, expect delays at busy times. Allow extra time for journey
Expected completion: December 17, 2020
Burpengary East
Old Bay Rd - Culvert upgrade, road partially closed. Work due to take four months.
Expected completion: End of October 2020
Caboolture
Bribie Island Rd/Old Toorbul Point Rd - Signalised intersection upgrade with lanes reduced in both directions. Reduced speed limits, motorists must follow signs. Possible delays.
Expected completion: February 27, 2021
Scarborough Rd - Between 55 Scarborough Rd and Alcock Rd, road resurfacing work, road partially closed. Estimated start date September 8 for three weeks. Partial road closure.
Estimated completion September 29
Smiths Rd – Intersection of Smiths Rd and Del Rosso Rd. Intersection upgrade due to take 8 weeks. Estimated start August 13.
Expected completion Early November 2020
Brown St – Road construction and upgrade between Ardrossan Rd and Elof Rd. Expected to take six months.
Expected completion September 2020.
Caboolture South
Morayfield Rd – Night works, road safety improvements between Caboolture River Rd and Oaklands Dr. Lane or lanes reduced. Delays in busy times.
Expected completion January 2021
Camp Mountain
Mclean Road South – Between Sutton Ct and Lanita Crt, road resurfacing, expected to take 2 weeks. Estimated start date August 25.

Kippa-Ring
Kinyunga St – Between George St and Henzell St. Road resurfacing. Estimated start September 8, expected to take one week.
Expected completion September 15
Mount Glorious
Harland Rd – resurfacing entire length of the road. Expected start September 9 for two weeks.

Mt Mee
Pedwell Rd – Between 120 Pedwell Rd and Mt Mee Rd, road resurfacing work. Estimated start August 21 for four weeks.

Neurum
Morrison Road – Road resurfacing work entire length of road. Expected start August 21 for four weeks.
Estimated completion September 18
Drovers Camp Lane – Road resurfacing entire length of road. Estimated start August 21 for two weeks.

Petrie
Reid Street – Resurfacing entire length of road. Estimated start September 8 for one week.
Expected competition September 22
Rue Montaigne – Between Frenches Rd and Vaucluse Cres, road resurfacing work. Estimated start September 1 for one week.

Redcliffe
Ashmole Road – Between Anzac Ave and Porter Street. Road resurfacing work. Estimated start September 1 for one week

Rothwell
Upgrading Deception Bay Rd between Anzac Ave and Morris Rd intersections. Night works. All lanes affected. Expect delays during busy times.
Expected completion: October 30, 2020
Wamuran
Basin Road – Between R Sampson Road and Campbells Pocket Road. Road resurfacing work for three weeks. Estimated start August 21.
Warner
Lilley Rd - Pathway construction at roundabout of Lilley Rd, Kremzow Rd and Ira Buckby Rd. Work due to take five months.
Expected competition: End of October 2020
Woodford
Archer Street - Road rehabilitation work between Margaret St and Kropp Rd. Started early July.
