Yarnie, who is currently in Year 12 at the Australian Trade College, has a deep passion for helping others and is thrilled to be gaining hands-on experience in her chosen field. Yarnie will graduate Year 12 not only with her QCE, but also her Certificate III in Individual Support and a Certificate III in Business, preparing her for a brilliant career.
No Boundaries in Margate, offers bespoke support five days a week for individuals with high and complex support needs. Yarnie spends three days a week completing her QCE at the college and two days at the center, where she works alongside a team of experienced professionals.
Under their guidance, she is learning to provide a wide range of support services, from daily care to specialised assistance.
With her passion and dedication, Yarnie is well on her way to a fulfilling career in health services, making a real difference in the lives of those she supports.

Phoenix’s passion for hairdressing sparked early and was solidified during a work experience phase at Everlong Hair Salon. This experience ignited a deeper desire to pursue a school-based apprenticeship. Thanks to the Australian Trade College’s flexible timetable, Phoenix can balance her apprenticeship while completing her senior studies.

After completing just a couple of work experience placements with Wells Electrical Services, he secured a school-based apprenticeship with the company. Oscar is excelling in his apprenticeship, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in the electrical trade. Alongside his apprenticeship, Oscar has achieved excellent academic results and is set to graduate high school this year, showcasing his dedication and hard work in both his studies and his trade.
Thanks to the college’s flexible schedule, Oscar skillfully balances his senior studies—attending classes on campus in Scarborough three days a week—while working two days per week and participating in six-week work blocks throughout the year. This setup enables him to start his Certificate III in Electrotechnology, establishing a solid foundation for a future in the electrical industry.
