Talented trio combine for exhibition

A trio of artists will bring their talents to the Bribie Island Arts Centre in December.

Colin Van Kruining, Graham Davies and Helen Macdonald each use different media to express their creativity in Colourful, Bold and Beautiful, which runs from December 1-13.

Stunning landscapes

Colin was born in Holland and migrated as a child to Australia in 1958.

From the age of 16, he worked with his uncle, landscape and seascape artist Wim Kortland for two years and under his guidance developed a talent for painting.

Beautiful glass art

Graham has been working with glass for the past 32 years and is well known for his classes in lead-lighting and glass creations at the arts centre.

Scenes of Bribie

Helen has lived on Bribie for 18 years and loves to paint scenes of Bribie and other places she visits. She enjoys using many different mediums – the latest being coloured pencils.

Helen has been involved in many exhibitions, and says she enjoys the challenge of being “hung on the wall”.

The arts centre is open Tuesday-Sunday, 9am-4pm.
