Tree-change for police officer
A tiny township in the Moreton Police District has welcomed a new police officer.
Moore, about 82km west of Caboolture, is home to about 300 people and is a popular stop for motorcyclists.
Senior-Constable Brayden Tucker and his family are looking forward to a change of pace.
Sen-Constable Tucker has spent the past eight years working in Fortitude Valley and in the Brisbane City bike squad.
Connecting with community
Looking for a lifestyle change away from the hustle and bustle, his family was keen to make the move without going too far from extended family and friends.
“What I want to achieve at Moore is to become involved within the community and reduce the road-related trauma along the D-Aguilar corridor,” Sen-Constable Tucker says.
“I am also looking forward to being brought on as the official Adopt-A-Cop by the Linville State school on April 26.”
