Plans for the weekend closure of the Bruce Highway northbound off-ramp at Dohles Rock Rd have been changed.
Due to the weather forecast and expected impacts on construction, the closures of the Dohles Rocks Rd exit ramp (Exit 130) has been pushed back a week.
The ramp will no longer close this weekend (July 17-20) and an additional closure has been added in August.
So, the first weekend closure will now start at 10pm on Friday, July 24, 2026 and go through to 4am on Monday July 27.
That will be followed by a closure from 10pm Friday July 31 to 4am Monday August 3 and the additional weekend, 10pm Friday August 7 to 4am Monday August 10.
Transport and Main Roads says the ramp will re-open early if work is completed ahead of schedule.
Motorists who use Dohles Rocks Rd northbound exit ramp (Exit 130) will need to use the Anzac Ave exit (Exit 133) during the closure and follow the signed detour route
Dohles Rocks Rd will remain open with access to and from the surrounding road network Dohles Rocks Rd onto the Bruce Highway southbound will also remain open.
TMR said: “We understand this closure and detour will be an inconvenience for motorists and the community. We appreciate your patience and understanding while we undertake these vital works.”
