Wamuran F.A.M Fest returns

After a successful launch in 2022, Wamuran F.A.M (Food Art Music) Festival is back on September 23 celebrating local food, art and music at the Wamuran Sports Complex.

From 9am–2pm the complex will be transformed into a free-entry festival showcasing local producers and artisans in the Moreton Bay region.

Wamuran F.A.M Festival is part of the Tastes of Moreton Bay Feastival, a five-week program delivering delicious unique dining experiences and events showcasing local produce, partnered with the region’s premier hospitality and catering businesses, producers and chefs.

Bring your empty picnic basket and fill it up with a variety of fresh local produce straight from the paddock.

A collection of local farmers and food vendors will showcase the best of the region’s produce, including fresh fruit and vegetables, cheeses, honey and more.

The festival will also feature a range of talented local artists and their creations in a variety of different mediums ranging from painting and sculpture to jewellery and textiles.

You’ll have a chance to meet the artists and makers, learn about their craft, support locals and take home a piece of their art.

To round out the day a fantastic line-up of local musicians will take to the stage from 9am–2pm. You can relax while you shop and enjoy your delicious eats.

After you’ve shopped up a storm, make sure you stop by the local food trucks for a bite to eat before unwinding on your picnic rug to enjoy your little feast of local goodies and the musicians on the main stage.
