Suttons Beach is a patrolled beach on the Redcliffe Peninsula in Moreton Bay, ideal for a gentle paddle or a swim for the little ones. With the breathtaking backdrop of Moreton Island, the small waves provide a fun splash for kids and a refreshing dip for any generation. A free family day out at the beach
If you're looking for a day out that doesn't cost the earth for the entire family, Suttons Beach is a perfect destination. With free parking, plentiful picnic grass areas, free BBQ's, and winding bike paths with views for miles. Picnic tables and amenities are available which make this one of the most popular weekend destinations in Redcliffe.
Children's fenced playground
Suttons Beach playground is a fenced area where kids can play safely and use their imagination in the pirate themed playground. Over most of the playground there are shade sails which provide shade during most of the day.
Accessibility
There's a cycle path running along the peninsula 's coastline, which is a great way to take in the beautiful beauty of the Redcliffe Peninsula. This shared route is suitable for wheelchairs as well. Those with younger babies can take in the sea breeze and enjoy a lovely walk with prams along the path.
