$11.1 million Cashflow Boost to Businesses
A massive $11.1 million in bill payments has hit the accounts of local businesses and suppliers.
Council accelerated the usual terms of payment to increase the cashflow into our local economy.
So if you’ve done work for Council, that money should now be in your account. If not, please contact the accounts payable team.
This initiative is on top of the $15 million stimulus package approved by Council at the Special Meeting that was convened last month.
Through all initiatives Council gives preference to projects that use local procurement and local suppliers.
