ACE start put to the test
Published 12:00pm 26 March 2021
Albany Creek Excelsior (ACE) has made a perfect start to the Brisbane Premier League season - but faces its toughest test this weekend.
The Reserves beat Bayside Reserves 4-3 at Wolter Park - and could have won by more - before the top side hammered their Bayside counterparts 5-1 with defender Matt Andrews scoring twice.
That maintained the 100 per cent starts for both ACE teams which travel to last season's premiers, in both divisions, St George Willawong on Sunday.
