RAAF Anzac Day flypasts are scheduled - subject to conditions - at four services in the Moreton Bay region tomorrow. Roads will also close for services.
Plans are for two F/A-18F Super Hornet fighters to fly over the Pine Rivers RSL Sub-Branch commemorations at Norths Leagues Club at 10.08am.
The Super Hornets are then due at the Dayboro War Memorial Association’s service at Dayboro Showgrounds at 10.10am.
At 10.15am the planes have been arranged to fly past the Caboolture Morayfield and District RSL service at Caboolture Town Square.
Finally, one F/A-18F Super Hornet is set to fly over Woodford RSL’s morning service in Archer Street at 10.45am - and then Beerwah at 10.48am.
Two F/A-18F Super Hornets will fly past the Anzac Day commemorations in King George Square, Brisbane at 10.05am and 11.20am.
Almost 40 fly pasts, by a number of different planes, are planned by the RAAF at Anzac Day services across South-East Queensland tomorrow.
They start with two EA-18G Growlers at Gaythorne RSL in Mitchelton at 7.25am and finish with Super Hornets at Laidley RSL at 10.58am.
Flying is subject to variables including air traffic control requirements, weather and operational availability.
