Be part of Moreton Bay PrideFest

Want to be part of the action at the first Moreton Bay PrideFest event on June 10 at Pine Rivers Park? Organisers are looking for supporters, sponsors, volunteers, stall holders and performers.

The event will be a celebration of the LGBTIQAP+ community but also an important show of support.

It will coincide with World Pride Month and celebrate the region’s growing LGBTIQAP+ community.

Moreton Bay local Courtney Act will headline the entertainment, which includes Sneaky Sound System, Thelma Plum, DJ Havana Brown and DJ Harry K, and the Fluffy Superstars.

Headspace, which provides mental health services to people aged 12-25 years, will receive $5 from every ticket sold.

How you can get involved

PrideFest Foundation Supporter:

Show your pride and sign up as an inaugural PrideFest Foundation Supporter for only $330 (inc GST).

PrideFest Foundation Supporters will help organisers bring pride, diversity and inclusion to the Moreton Bay Region for the first time.

They also receive two VIP tickets, their name (or business) featured on the website, and a Foundation Supporter kit.

For more information about becoming a Foundation Supporter, email shane.newcombe@mbrit.com.au

Partner with PrideFest:

Organisers are calling for businesses and organisations to join forces with them to make the inaugural PrideFest a success.

Sponsorship will unlock exclusive, limited and customised unique deliverables according to the level of support.

For details, email belinda@matchsticks.com.au or phone 0411 543 356.

Stall holder and vendors:

Do you have products that the LGBTIQAP+ community will love?

Organisers have a soft spot for stallholders who are active in the LGBTIQAP+ community, or identify as LGBTIQAP+ themselves, but everyone is welcome.

Stall holders and food vendors are being encouraged to apply.

LGBTIQAP+ charities or support organisations that fit the selection criteria will be offered a stall free of charge to raise money and awareness.

Be a volunteer:

If you love events and want to give back to the LGBTIQAP+ community, organisers would love to hear from you. They have various roles to fill – working on the front gates, in production, as bar staff and everything in between.

Performers:

If you’re a local performer, DJ or in a band, that would like to apply to be part of Moreton Bay PrideFest, get in touch.
