Spinnaker Park, Newport

Set in a prime location on the Redcliffe Peninsula, Spinnaker Park is a beautiful lakefront playground appealing to families looking to enjoy a day in the sun.

Designed with a nautical theme in mind, this all-abilities playground features a play ship, coconut rope swing, climbing nets, slides, sand and more.

The showstopper of the park is the 11m sail tower, which features multi-level climbing activities for those who like a little more adventure, and two fast slides for kids to whoosh down.

There is also a smaller sail tower for toddlers to enjoy.

Stone Ridge Park, Narangba

Situated on a cleverly recrafted hill and terraced over four levels, Stone Ridge Park has something for everyone.

In the heart of Samford Village, John Scott Park offers different playgrounds for smaller kids and bigger kids to explore.

It is also bordered on two sides by green space – ideal for a game of footy or cricket.

Not only is Leslie Patrick Park in Arana Hills the perfect place for the kids to have a great day - it's also an all-abilities playground which means that children of all physical and intellectual abilities can join in the fun.

They will be in awe of the climbing apparatus in the middle of the playground, become slightly dizzy on the hugely popular spinners, or pretend they are in the construction industry by playing on the little sand digger.

The two bewitching structures have a bridge, climbing net, fireman’s pole, slide, turrets and windows for kids to climb on.

Other features of the park include toddler swings, a large grassed area for ball games, bench seating and sheltered picnic tables.

Pelican Park, Clontarf

Pelican Park in Clontarf is a popular spot for families to gather as it features two playgrounds - one with a wheelchair accessible swing - as well as plenty of walking and bike paths, and lots of grass to throw out the picnic rug.

There’s also plenty of space where you can fly a kite to go and fly a kite when the sea breeze blows in.

After the kids have had a play, why not enjoy a nice walk along by the water.
