Big day for small businesses

Nikki Boyd, the State Member for Pine Rivers, has revealed the winners of her fourth annual Small Business Awards.
“It was an opportunity to celebrate and champion all the hard work and dedication the local Small Businesses community contribute and is always such an exciting time," she said.
“This year I have seen the greatest participation in the voting portion, having received over 4000 votes to date.”
Guests included Federal Member for Dickson Ali France, State Member for Murrumba Steven Miles, Shadow Minister Joan Pease and Councillor Jim Moloney.
Categories were Trade and Services; Wellbeing, Beauty and Hairdressing; Cafes; Restaurant & Bar; Retail and Sales; Social Enterprise; Early Childhood Education; Best Small Business Newcomer (opened 24/25).
Finalists were determined by a popular vote, with Businesses and Early Childhood Education Centres voted on by the community. Finalists:
