One of the busiest caravan parks in Moreton Bay is set to reopen on Saturday after maintenance work.

Bells Caravan Park, which fronts on to Hornibrook Esplanade at Clontarf, closed on June 10 for an 11-day “full electrical switchboard upgrade”.

Moreton Bay City Council said it included “various other electrical works and programmed upgrades necessary for one of the busiest caravan parks”.

Bells Caravan Park - which has a camp kitchen, two amenities blocks and a laundry - will reopen on Saturday (June 22).

Council’s website says there are around 52 caravan sites and one tent site for visiting tourists to the region.
