Coffee with Small Business minister

Queensland’s Minister for Small Business Di Farmer is the guest speaker at Mark Ryan’s final Small Business Network Coffee Catch Up for 2023.

Minister Farmer will join State Member for Morayfield Mark Ryan and more than 100 local business representatives for the early morning networking session at Caboolture Sports Club on November 24, at 7am.

“I’m really excited to welcome Minister Farmer back to the Morayfield electorate to help wrap up what has been a stellar year of Coffee Catch Ups,” Mr Ryan said.

“Di Farmer recently signed a landmark National Skills Agreement with the Federal Government, locking in five years of funding for our Vocational Education and Training sector, with TAFE at the heart of the deal.

“We know that it can be tough for our local businesses to secure enough skilled workers.

Nominated charity

“This National Skills Agreement will go a long way towards ensuring our businesses have the highly-trained workers they need to drive forward their businesses and the broader Queensland economy.”

Each month Mark Ryan’s Small Business Network Coffee Catch Ups support a nominated local charity, with gold coin donations from attendees.

This month funds raised will go to Kindness for Kids in Care, who provide Christmas gifts and other support for local children and teens in care.

Entry to the Catch Up is free but booking is essential. Phone 5343 5100 to secure a spot.
