Dolphins now open for foundation members

Supporters of new NRL club the Dolphins can cement themselves as part of their club, one year before the first team runs out onto the field.

Head coach Wayne Bennett today launched the club’s Foundation Membership at Brisbane’s Mt Coot-tha, the highest point of the city.

From there the panorama takes in Suncorp Stadium – where the club will make its 2023 premiership debut – the peninsula and Brisbane’s northern corridor, the area Dolphins will represent.

At the launch poet Rupert McCall, a supporter of Dolphins in the Queensland Rugby League since childhood, read a specially-commissioned poem about the birth of the NRL club.

The Dolphins have released four categories of membership, including a premium Foundation Membership that will forever be known as The Glass House Club.

Lock in seats

The Glass House Club gives its owners the only way to lock in seats at all 12 Dolphins home games next year, shared between Suncorp Stadium, Moreton Daily Stadium and the Sunshine Coast Stadium.

Membership also presents a wide range of unique inclusions only available to Foundation Members, including the member’s name on a special plaque at the entrance to Moreton Daily Stadium and exclusive premium personalised merchandise.

Non-ticketed memberships are also available now, with the adult offering – the First-In Phinatics membership – securing a priority window to buy other ticketed memberships when they go on sale in August.

Membership for both children and babies have also been made available.

“We have just one year to go and Dolphins’ fans have already shown how ready they are for their team to enter the NRL,” Dolphins’ chief executive Terry Reader said.

“We have ensured we have a range of memberships at price points for everyone – from our premium Glass House Club membership to the First-In Phinatics package that will allow people to say they were members from the start of the club and give them first access to season tickets.

“This is an important day for the club – the support of our fans is vital to the success of the team in the NRL.”

The Dolphins will release other general ticketed membership options in August this year.
