Don’t miss Griffin Santa Run

Santa and his elves are preparing his sleigh ahead of the Griffin Santa Run on December 3.

Griffin State School P&C Association Christmas Committee is organising the run and the big man in red will leave from the school at 8.30am before making his way to six local parks and finally Griffin Sporting complex.

Keep an eye out for him on local streets and give him, the elves and Mrs Claus a wave.

There will be no Christmas Carnival this year after last year’s event was postponed twice and cancelled at the committee’s third attempt to host it, due to COVID-19 and wet weather.

Santa will be stopping at the following parks for 10-15 minutes during the Santa Run and will be at Griffin Sports Complex for about one hour.

  • Victory Drive Park
  • Lavender Park
  • Peppercorn Park
  • Bray's Farm Park
  • Beverley Park
  • Ultramarine Park
  • Main Stop - (one-hour stop)
    Griffin Sports Complex, Henry Rd

All planned routes are subject to change depending on access issues and traffic on the day. This includes parks stops. If Santa is unable to safely park, he won’t be able to stop.

Griffin Santa Run is organised by the Griffin State School P&C Association Christmas Committee and supported by Anytime Fitness Griffin, Griffin Pharmacy, Deputy Premier Steven Miles, Deputy Mayor Jodie Shipway, Elephas Griffin and North Lakes Kangaroos JRLC.
