Enjoy Music in the Park Morayfield

What better way to spend a Saturday afternoon than by enjoying a Music in the Park event at Morayfield?

The event on November 5, from 1-5pm, will feature performances by musicians from the area, giving locals the chance to enjoy local talent in a relaxed setting at CT & LM Williams Park.

The line-up includes Rockabellas, Josh Crawford, Beth Lucas, Kiani Jazz and Cassi Marie.

There will be food trucks on hand, as well as the Ausbuild-sponsored community barbecue selling sausage sizzle sandwiches. All proceeds from the barbecue will be going to Caboolture Community Action Group.

Free face painting will also be on offer, as well as a giant games area.

Bring a picnic rug, a camp chair and sun protection.

Music in the Park Morayfield is presented by Moreton Bay Regional Council and supported by major sponsors Ausbuild and Moreton Daily.

Events for everyone

Mayor Peter Flannery has declared 2022 the year for events.

“Council is delivering a whopping 43 free community events in partnership with Moreton Bay Region Industry & Tourism (MBRIT) this financial year on top of the regular signature events like Moreton Bay Food Wine Festival, Jetty 2 Jetty and of course the absolutely spectacular KiteFest,” he says.

“This is an enormous investment in vibrancy and a direct response to calls from locals for more festivals and activities in their suburbs and neighbourhoods, meaning residents won’t need to leave Moreton Bay.

“So come on down and join in all the fun.”
