Fast-tracking $119m development
Traders In Purple has fast-tracked the launch of the final stage of its Tydal apartments, at Woody Point, by more than a year.
Construction will now start this year, with completion earmarked for late 2027.
CEO Brett Robinson said the move is to meet demand from buyers looking to secure a place in the $119 million Woody Point development.
“Despite strong price growth and demand, it’s also still relatively affordable compared with other beachside locations in the South-East,” he said.
Tydal Oceana has 71 two and three-bedroom apartments, with ocean, hinterland and local views.
Two-bedroom apartments at Tydal Oceana start from $970,000 and three-bedroom apartments from $1.12 million.
It follows the success of Tydal Sands, where more than 85 per cent of the 104 apartments have sold, and construction is in full swing.
Both buildings will rise on one of the most elevated – and historic - sites in Woody Point.
The 6900sqm block housed the Palace Hotel, where the Bee Gees played their first paid gig before going on to sell more than 220 million records. The hotel was demolished after a fire in 2013.
“Tydal Oceana occupies one of the best locations on the peninsula, elevated to capture both ocean and hinterland views, providing a rare chance to secure a new apartment by the water in this sought-after area,” Mr Robinson said.
Ranging from 117sqm to 201sqm, Tydal Oceana’s apartments include entertainer balconies and kitchens, luxurious bathrooms, full-height windows and high ceilings. First level apartments include terraces measuring up to 74sqm.
Residents will also have access to a pool, sun lounges, outdoor shower, barbeques with outdoor dining, a car wash and reflection areas.
Tydal is Traders In Purple’s 14th development in Moreton in Bay. Tydal Oceana joins active projects including Marin, Orilla and Tydal Sands.
