Free family fun at Winter Sun Festival

Free face painting, jumping castle, a five-person climbing wall, and a petting zoo are just a few of the exciting activities families can enjoy at the upcoming Winter Sun Festival at the Encircle Kallangur Neighbourhood Centre this Saturday.
Everyone is invited to take part in the festivities, which will be held from 10am-2pm at 51 Marsden Rd, Kallangur.
Acting CEO at Encircle, Stephen Hawkins, says the event will be a fun and cost-effective day out for families to enjoy during the school holidays.
“Encircle Community Services know that times are tough for families. To support families at this time, we’re hosting a free Winter Sun Festival at our Kallangur Neighbourhood Centre on Saturday,” he says.
“The day aims to bring the community together for a fun filled and enjoyable day.
“There will be children’s activities, food, drinks, and community stalls showcasing what’s available around the Kallangur area.
“There’s something for everyone and best of all, it’s free.”

There will also be a giveaway stall for clothing, blankets and donated goods for people in need.
Attendees will also enjoy a free barbecue, fairy floss, fresh fruit, popcorn and sno cones.
