Full list of Remembrance Day services in Moreton Bay

Thousands of residents will gather at cenotaphs and war memorials across the City of Moreton Bay this Saturday to pay their respects to veterans on Remembrance Day.
The community will have the opportunity to lay flowers and wreaths, as well as reflect on veterans' sacrifices during a minute’s silence at 11am. This is to signify when the guns fell silent on the Western Front 105 years ago on November 11, 1918.
Here is a full list of 2023 Remembrance Day services happening across the City of Moreton Bay.
Beachmere
Time: 10.40-11.30am
Location: Beachmere water tower, corner of Main Street and Moreton Terrace, Beachmere.
Details: Join members of the Beachmere RSL Sub Branch, who will gather in the morning to honour all who have served and sacrificed for our nation’s freedom.
Bribie Island
Time: 10.30-11.15am
Location: In the grounds of the RSL Island RSL and Citizens Club, 99 Toorbul St, Bongaree
Details: Members of the Bribie Island community are invited to attend the service and pay their respects before retiring to the club.
Caboolture
Time: 10am-12pm
Location: At the Town Square Memorial, King St, Caboolture
Details: The Caboolture community is invited to come and pay their respects to all who have given their lives in service, including in wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations.
Dayboro
Time: 10.45-11.10am
Location: Roderick A Cruice park, William St, Dayboro
Details: The service will commence at 10.45am and include a formation flyover of WWI Vintage Bi-planes at 10.50am and an RAAF flyover at 11.10am.
Following the conclusion of the service, light refreshments will be available.
Deception Bay
Time: 8.30am-12.30pm
Location: At the War Memorial, Captain Cook Parade
Details: The day will commence with an early breakfast at the Zesty Lemon Café, which is directly opposite the memorial.
The service will commence at 10.45am and will include the laying of wreaths, the playing of the Last Post, and the observance of a minute's silence at 11am.
The Deception Bay RSL Branch invites all members to join them for a barbecue to be held after the service.
Kallangur
Time: 10.30-11.15am
Location: 1349 Anzac Avenue, Kallangur
Details: The service will be held in the memorial gardens, with hundreds expected to attend.
Redcliffe
Time: 10.45-11.30am
Location: ANZAC Place, Redcliffe Parade, Redcliffe.
Details: The Catafalque party will take their post at 10.50am in preparation for the service to begin at 11am.
The service will include a minute’s silence, the Rouse, and addresses by the Redcliffe RSL president and local chaplain.
Samford
Time: 10.30-11.30am
Location: Samford Avenue of Honour, 5 Burton Lane, Samford Valley. Parking will be available at the soccer club grounds.
Details: People attending the service are encouraged to get there early. Some seating will be available under the marquee in case of hot or wet weather.
Members of the public are welcome to lay wreaths or flowers.
The catafalque party will be provided by 2SQN of the 2 Combat Engineer Regiment based at Gallipoli Barracks.
After the service concludes at 11.05am, everyone is invited to head to Samford RSL (corner Main and Progress Streets) for refreshments and fellowship.

Details: Refreshments will be served following the service.
