Gem Club day a washout
ONGOING rain has forced the Redcliffe Gem Club to postpone its Open to The Public and Market Day this weekend.
The club said the decision was made because of predicted further rain on already sodden ground.
“It would just be unfair to ask our gem and opal traders, jewellery creators and our valued supporters to bear the weather,” the club said.
“We have rallied the support of Council to make alternative arrangements for the following Saturday.”
The open day and market will now be held on Saturday, March 5 from 9am-3pm at the Redcliffe Lapidary Building, Redcliffe Botanic Gardens, 4 Henzell St, Redcliffe.
