Get snapping for Queensland Rail's photography comp
Calling all photography lovers! Queensland Rail has launched a competition for budding photographers to have their images immortalised on train stations across South East Queensland.
Burpengary Station is one of the selected stations looking for artistic talent.
Queensland Rail CEO Kat Stapleton says the competition encourages local entrants to capture their suburb.
"We are thrilled to invite photographers of all skill levels to participate in this exciting competition,” she says.
“This competition not only celebrates the artistic talent within our community but also fosters a deeper connection between public transport and the people we serve.
"It also promises an opportunity for artists to leave an indelible mark on the cityscape."
The submissions will be judged by a panel, and six lucky winners will be chosen to have their photograph displayed on a stunning urban canvas at either Burpengary, Lindum, Morningside, Buranda, Bundamba and Banyo.
Submissions for Burpengary Station close on Sunday, June 23.
