Green light for $20m play centre
A new $20 million indoor children’s play centre will open in North Lakes next year after plans were approved by Moreton Bay Regional Council.
Jungle Adventure Play will have climbing walls, a high ropes course, indoor playgrounds, free fall platforms, ninja courses, a mini golf course, café, licenced restaurant and a Tiki Bar on 10,000sqm at 2 McLennan Ct.
Construction on one of Queensland’s largest indoor/outdoor adventure play facilities will start this year and is expected to finish in 2024.
Mayor Flannery said the centre will create 100 jobs and $5.6 million local economic activity each year by its third year of operation.

owner Lachlan Walker, who also has a centre in Tingalpa, said: “We identified Moreton Bay as a major growth region
managed by a business-friendly Council and chose North Lakes due to its strong
family demographic, which aligned with our company’s core values.
“As a family-owned and operated business, we know how important it is to connect and grow with the community.”
Deputy Mayor and Councillor Jodie Shipway (Div 4) welcomed the new investor and the new centre.
“The Jungle Adventure Play centre will be a great addition to Norths Lakes and surrounds as it provides families with safe, friendly and sun protected space,” she said.
“This centre will be enjoyed by local families while helping to attract new visitors to the area.”
