Hiring spree as GYG set to open in Morayfield
Guzman y Gomez (GYG) is preparing to say ‘hola’ to Morayfield next week when the Mexican food chain opens its fourth restaurant in Queensland this year.
Franchisee at the new outlet, in Morayfield Super Centre on Morayfield Rd, is Luke Francey, who also operates GYG North Lakes and Rothwell.
GYG Morayfield will open on Tuesday August 9 with special offers such as $5 burritos and bowls, free coffee and a Mariachi band all day.
Visitors will also see a front counter which has been made with recycled materials from an old building at Redcliffe Airport.
“Morayfield has been one of GYG’s most requested locations for a long time now and we’re confident this brand new drive-thru will be an absolute hit!” Mr Francey said.

“We’ve hired around 80 local legends to join the team at Morayfield already and are always looking for new team members to join us.”
Mr Francey says he is a “huge brand-fan-turned-franchisee” who opened his first GYG in 2016 after 10 years in the health and fitness industry.
GYG Morayfield, the company’s 52nd outlet in Queensland, will be open 6am-10pm, daily, serving up breakfast, lunch and dinner.
