The call has gone out to Vote Redcliffe and help bring a top state tourism award to the Moreton Bay region.
Redcliffe is one of four finalists in the 2025 Queensland Top Tourism Town Awards (category: population over 5000).
But to bring home the big prize, Redcliffe needs local residents and businesses to go online and vote before Saturday’s (May 17) deadline.

Being a finalist highlights the unique charm, tourism appeal and community spirit that make Redcliffe a standout destination.
“Being named a finalist is already a huge honour, but winning this award would deliver a whole new level of visibility and opportunity for Redcliffe and our local businesses,” said Luke Edwards, CEO of Visit Moreton Bay.
“It’s a celebration of everything that makes Redcliffe such a special place - and now we need our community’s help to take us across the finish line.”
Should Redcliffe take home the title of Queensland’s Top Tourism Town, the win would include a $20,000 billboard advertising package from Bishopp Billboards.
It will also receive a $20,000 sustainable tourism events package from the Queensland Tourism Industry Council, with mentoring from EarthCheck as well as the Top Tourism Town trophy and use of a digital winner’s logo for promotional purposes.
The winner will also represent Moreton Bay region at the National Top Tourism Awards.
“This award is about recognition and would help boost the great work of Visit Moreton Bay in raising awareness of Redcliffe as a destination,” Edwards said.
“We know tourism has a multiplier effect and the increased visitation flows through to our cafes, shops, retail and food and drink suppliers - and more.”
