International Women's Day event helps Wamuran women's shed
Words by Jodie Powell

The North Lakes Sports Club hosted a sell-out lunch on International Women's Day last week.

The event was hosted by radio identity Donna Lynch and featured special guests Rugby League great Karina Brown and Paralympic swimmer Katja Dedekind.

It raised more than $2000 from raffles, with the money going towards the very first Wamuran Women's Shed.
