Soroptimist International Moreton North (SIMNI) will host a Mental Health Forum at Caboolture on October 9.
The free event will be held during Queensland Mental Health Week (October 5-13) at The Hub, Hasking St, from 10am-2pm.
Numbers are limited but participants are welcome to attend for all or part of the day. Those wishing to take part are asked to register by October 3.
The forum will bring together people with mental health challenges, their families and friends, as well as health practitioners, support workers, carers, organisations and community members.
Participants will have the opportunity to share stories, make new friends and learn simple techniques to reduce the impact of stress.
The forum is one of SIMNI’s ‘Shining a Light on Invisible Illnesses’ activities.
