Green Light for Prime Blocks

A prime parcel of land in the heart of North Lakes now has approval for a subdivision into five blocks - which are already being snapped up.

Moreton Bay City Council gave a green light for Cornerstone Group’s plan for 1.4-hectares at Joyner Circuit, behind the Anzac Ave car dealerships.

Cornerstone Group Managing Director and founder Simon Heazlewood, said of the five lots, two are already under contract and a third under offer.

“The strategic location and growth potential of the land have made it a sought-after opportunity for investors and developers and this robust market response underscores the high demand for this property,” he said.

"With a projected influx of 240 people per week to the Moreton Bay region over the next 25 years, developments like this will play a crucial role in providing essential infrastructure to accommodate the growing and emerging population in the region."

Cornerstone Group’s main focus is on mid-sized medical facilities such as medical office buildings and general practice clinics in high-demand geographies.

Mr Heazlewood said the land parcel allows a variety of potential uses, but at present, the primary interest is coming from reputable childcare and gym providers.

“These businesses recognise the unique advantages offered by this prime location, including its proximity to the heart of North Lakes,” Mr Heazlewood said.

“The next step is to secure necessary approval, a milestone that will enable the provision of services to each of the five lots.

“The remaining lots will soon be listed and given the high level of interest in the property and swift pace of sales, it is anticipated these will not be on the market for an extended period.”
