Little Scholars School of Early Learning is setting a new standard in early childhood education following its opening at Deception Bay North in January.

The $5 million campus offers more than just child care - it’s a holistic, family-first experience designed to nurture young minds while supporting parents and the wider community.

The 2500sqm campus has capacity for 171 children and is at 54 Old Bay Rd – opposite Deception Bay North State School.

Little Scholars has purpose-built classrooms, natural outdoor play areas, a technology hub, before and after school care space and the latest learning resources.

Founder Jae Fraser says, with a commitment to innovation, education, and care, Little Scholars provides a range of unique programs that set it apart from traditional early learning centres.

These include the following:

Family Time Program

Understanding the challenges of modern parenting, Little Scholars introduced its Family Time program, an initiative designed to give parents more opportunities to engage meaningfully with their children. Families enrolled will have access to specialist appointments such as dental and haircuts so they can maximise free time together.

Intergenerational Program

Bridging the gap between generations, the Intergenerational Program connects young learners with elderly members of the community, fostering relationships that enrich both age groups. Regular visits to aged care facilities and collaborative activities help instill empathy, respect, and a sense of belonging, while providing seniors with companionship and joy.

Bush Kinder Program

Nature-based learning is at the heart of the Bush Kinder program, where children are encouraged to explore the outdoors, develop resilience, and build confidence in natural settings. Through guided play in local bushland, they develop problem-solving skills, environmental awareness, and a deep appreciation for nature—an essential foundation for lifelong learning and wellbeing.

Take-Home Meals for Families

Little Scholars recognises busy schedules can make meal preparation a challenge. To support families, the centre offers nutritious, take-home meals, ensuring children and parents have access to wholesome, home-style cooking without the added stress of meal prep. This initiative is just another way Little Scholars extends its care beyond the classroom.

Innovation

With a philosophy centered on nurturing the whole child and supporting families, Little Scholars continues to innovate in the early learning space.

As it expands its campuses and programs, its mission remains clear: to provide a world-class early education experience that benefits not only children but also the communities they are part of.

“With a philosophy centred on play-based learning, Little Scholars equips children with the skills and confidence they need to thrive,” Jae says.

Families can now secure enrolments for the new Deception Bay North campus.
