All Moreton Bay Division 11 voters should have received their ballot pack by now, says the Electoral Commission Queensland (ECQ).
The election is by postal vote only with the election day being Saturday September 27, though ballots can be completed and returned earlier.
If you have not received voting materials, check PO Box or alternate mailing address if you have one.
If it’s still not there, phone the ECQ on 1300 881 665.
The by-election is for the Councillor seat vacated by Darren Grimwade, who stepped down earlier this year.
Candidates, who outlined their top three issues in the Moreton Daily, are (in ballot paper order):
Ellie Smith
Dean Clements
Carl Enchelmaier
Mal Gibson
Clayton Connor
Paul Smith
Caleb Wells
Voters have until 6pm on Saturday to vote. Follow all instructions on the ballot paper and declaration envelope and make sure a witness signs your declaration envelope.
Postal votes must be received by the ECQ by 5pm on Tuesday October 7.
Voting is compulsory for around 29,000 enrolled voters in Division 11. Failure to vote can attract a $166 fine.
Remember, no polling places are open for this election.
Division 11 includes Narangba, Kurwongbah, Dayboro, Samford Village, Samford Valley and Mount Samson.
