Deception Bay Police Station played host to the Moreton Bay Region’s Queensland Police International Women’s Day event this month.

The event was livestreamed from Police Headquarters in Brisbane to stations around the state and included an address from former Cabinet minister and Sex Discrimination Commissioner Pru Goward, who’s known for promoting women’s rights, driving reform and challenging institutional bullying and harassment.

It also featured a panel discussion with trailblazers and the presentation of the Queensland Women in Police Awards.
