The first display village in Moreton Bay's new city of Waraba will open on Saturday at the Lilywood Landings development.
When complete, the display village will feature 31 homes, when complete, showcasing a variety of architectural styles, layouts and finishes.
There are new homes from Brighton Homes, Burbank, Dare Homes, Glenvill Homes, Integrale Homes, McLachlan Homes, Metricon Homes, Neptune Homes, Orbit Homes, Roonsleigh Construction, Simonds Homes and Zoom Constructions.
More are set to open in coming weeks including Arcadia Homes, Creation Homes, Hudson Homes, Kiba Built, NuTrend Homes and Ultra Living Homes.
Lennium Development Manager Ian Worthington said the Display Village opening was a significant milestone for Waraba.
“It’s the first opportunity for people to see the community coming to life, to walk through some beautifully designed homes and imagine the lifestyle that will flourish here,” he said.
“Every home has been thoughtfully designed to reflect the natural beauty and relaxed lifestyle of the Moreton Bay region.”
Master Builders Manager – Display Villages, Greg Byrne said: “Watching these display homes being constructed over the last nine [GB1] months has been so exciting.
“We are delighted their doors are now open for new home builders to explore and imagine making their own.”
Formerly Caboolture West, Waraba is a 40-year project supplying around 30,000 homes plus schools, parks, sporting fields and town centre for an expected population of 70,000 people.
Lilywood Landings is the first residential community in the new city with around 250 lots sold since the first land release in mid-2024. Four stages are now virtually complete and families moving in.
