Residents at Bolton Clarke Inverpine retirement village in Murrumba Downs are preparing for their third annual Market Day.

From handmade cards to homewares, residents have each prepared their own items to sell on Saturday, just in time for Christmas.

The market is from 9am-1pm at Bolton Clarke Inverpine, 54 Ogg Road, Murrumba Downs and for the first time the whole community is invited.

Resident Janelle Auckland says it’s her third market and there is excitement building around the village.

“This will be the first year we open our markets to the local community which we are really excited about,” she said.

“It’s been the talk around our community for a while now because everyone has been preparing their items for sale.

“We are hoping for a great turnout!”
