The much-loved Pine Rivers Show returns to Moreton Bay with an action-packed weekend full of rides, activities and entertainment.

There has been one big change to this year’s show, according to Jackie Clarke from the Pine Rivers Show Society.

“One big change to the show this year is the rodeo – it is normally held on a Saturday, but this time we will be hosting it on the Friday night,” she says.

“This will be in the main arena from 5.30-8pm and will then be followed by some FMX and BMX freestyle shows, and our incredible fireworks display at 9am.

“Everyone gets free entry to the show on Friday until 3pm, which will allow lots of family and friends entry to come and see a lot of the school kids perform.

“We invest a lot of money into providing free entertainment for the community to enjoy, so once they have paid to come through the gate, you won’t have to pay extra, unless you want to go on the rides.”

There will be lots of free entertainment on offer this year, including Clydesdale rides, pig races, Urban Reptiles, llamas, Ashton Circus workshops and the Eljay Freestyle Entertainment Show.

“One of the other really popular show events is the woodchop – that always draws a big crowd,” Jackie says.

“There is so much for the whole family to enjoy, so make sure you come on down.”
