Where to see Santa this year

Santa has been given the all-clear to enter Queensland and has taken up his spot on the red throne for another year of Santa photos. While this year will look a little different to Santa photos of the past, there are still plenty of opportunities to take the kids to get a photo with Santa this year. We've found a few options from around the region, scroll through the list below to find one near you in the Moreton Bay Region. 



Westfield North Lakes

Take the opportunity to capture your children's joyous and festive spirit while meeting Santa at Westfield North Lakes.

Children with sensory challenges will love the Sensitive Santa Photography sessions, where the calming, comfortable photography sessions operate before stores open, while the centre is quieter, to create a relaxed and sensory-friendly Santa experience. Bookings are essential for Sensitive Santa sessions, with no walk-ins available. Get your tickets here.

Strathpine Centre

Bring your best smile for a photo with Santa photos at Strathpine Centre!

Your wellbeing is at the top of Santa’s list, so visits and photos are a little different this year. Physical distancing is being practiced and you will be invited to sit on seating next to Santa instead of his knee or chair.

2020 Christmas Photoshoots – Outdoors, Family & Pet Friendly

2020 has been a tough year for many Aussies! So, this year the Krakka’s are taking their CHRISTMAS PHOTOSHOOTS and their Aussie Spirit on a beach picnic, complete with surfboards, esky, drinks, beach equipment and your very own patch of sand.

Date: Saturday 21st & Sunday 29th November

Morayfield Shopping Centre

Nothing will stop Santa spreading Christmas joy and love to end 2020 with happy memories. While you can’t sit on Santa’s lap this year, the specially trained photography team will be sure to make sure you have an amazing Santa experience, even at a distance! This year is a great opportunity to have fun with props or for the whole family to get in the photo, not just the kids. Plus, purchase a Santa photo pack to receive a complimentary cookie!*

Location: Morayfield Shopping Centre, 171 Morayfield Road, Morayfield

Redcliffe Christmas Carols

Visit the new a walk-through experience from 5PM – 7.30PM and be sure to get a socially distanced photo taken with the one and only Santa Claus!

Wind your way through the twinkling Christmas trees, waving to your favourite Christmas characters along the way, before reaching the end where Santa Claus will be waiting to say 'Hi!'. It will be a truly magical experience!

Redcliffe Christmas Carols is a ticketed event and places are limited, make sure you book tickets early so you don't miss out. Book here

Location: Dolphins Stadium

Pine Rivers Christmas Carols

At Pine Rivers Christmas Carols a visit to Santa will look a little differently this year, with a walk-through Santa experience.

Wind your way through the twinkling Christmas trees, waving to your favourite Christmas characters along the way, before reaching the end where Santa Claus will be waiting to say 'Hi!'. It will be a truly magical experience!

Be sure to arrive early for your walk-through experience to see Santa so you don't miss out, he will only be available from 5PM - 7:30pm to get a socially distanced photo taken.

Pine Rivers Christmas Carols is a ticketed event and places are limited, make sure you book tickets early so you don't miss out. Tickets will be available from Sunday 6th at 3pm. Book here
