Raining goals on home debuts

There were goals galore when Moreton Bay United Jets’ top women’s sides made their home debuts in the state-level NPLW at Wolter Park.
The new Under 23 Jets side raced to a 5-0 victory over Logan Lightning with goals from Jess Hewitt 2, Abigail Thuell, Mackenzee Stokes and Mia Green.
Jets’ Women then battled out a 5-5 thriller with their Logan counterparts. Sam Bambling 2, Laini Freier 2 and Lanni McDougal were on target, with Freier scoring a dramatic late equaliser.
