Spend your voucher in Moreton Bay
If you were lucky enough to snag a Brisbane Holiday Dollars voucher, time is running out to make your booking. Can’t decide where to go and what to do? Take a look at what’s on offer in the Moreton Bay Region.
It’s your chance to get 50 per cent off (up to $100) on your next Moreton Bay adventure with accommodation, experiences and incredible limited-time-only deals on offer for those with Brisbane Holiday Dollars vouchers.
Voucher recipients must book their experience or accommodation by June 4 and travel by August 15.
How it works
The vouchers have been distributed to those successful in obtaining one via a random draw. Recipients were notified via text and email.
The vouchers can only be used by Queenslanders in Queensland, with Brisbane Registered Tourism Operators.
Operators must have an Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW) listing, a bookable platform and be COVID ‘good to go’ compliant to be part of the program.
Mayor Peter Flannery says voucher holders will get more bang for their buck visiting the Moreton Bay Region.
“Nowhere are you going to receive more enthusiastic service or be welcomed with a bigger smile,” Mayor Flannery says.
“This isn’t just a great way to support our local industry, it’s a great way to discover the wonders in your own backyard and make new family memories.
“So, even if you don’t have a holiday voucher, make sure a day exploring in Moreton Bay is top of your weekend travel itinerary.”
Moreton Bay Region Industry and Tourism Chairman Shane Newcombe welcomes the Holiday Dollars initiative, which he hopes will benefit operators across the state including the Moreton Bay Region.
“We have plenty of first class accommodation providers and experiences here in the region who would welcome the support of locals and visitors across Queensland,” Mr Newcombe says.
“Now is the time to discover what’s on offer here in our own backyard and give the families who run these businesses a hand up.
“We’ve also earned a holiday, an experience to remember and some fun after a tough 12 months.”
