Spook-tacular drive-through Halloween fun

It will be Halloween with a difference at the Caboolture Historical Village this year.

With COVID-19 social distancing restrictions still in place, Anne Relph from the village says organisers were forced to come up with a creative alternative to the traditional walk-through Halloween displays.

The result? Drive-through Halloween.

Stay safe. Stay in your car

“We figured if McDonald’s can have a drive-through, so can we,” Anne says.

She says the village didn’t want to disappoint loyal fans of the Halloween Ghoulies and Ghosties event and was creating a suitably spooky experience.

Instead of walking through the village to take in the sights, visitors will be able to drive through in their own vehicles, travelling along Tuckeroo Dve to see the spook-tacular displays.

Seatbelts a must

“People will find it’s something different this year, and they’re going to be going out to vote anyway, so they can come here too,” Anne says.

“So that you are not whisked away by our resident Ghoulies and Ghosties you must have your own seat and seatbelt on or no entry.”

Drive-through Ghoulies and Ghosties starts at 3pm on Saturday, October 31 and runs until 8pm. Entry is $10 per car.
