Minecraft Cubeez collectors across the Moreton Bay region are being given a special one-day boost this weekend.
Woolworths Supermarkets (excluding Metro) and Big W stores will host a special Swap Day, on Saturday (March 1) from 1-2pm.
Staff at stores across the country will help fans looking to track down cubes and complete their Minecraft Cubeez collections.
These include the rare Makena Cubeez with Gold Helmet, which is now in circulation, but there are only 150.
In total there are 40 Minecraft character, creature and blocks to collect. Collector cases are also available.
How Swap Day will work:
- One-for-one swaps will be facilitated by store teams for the first hour.
- Each store will have a limited number of cubes available to swap with.
- Once this allocation is exhausted, customers can swap directly with other customers attending the Swap Day.
- Customers are urged to follow the instructions of store team members who will help with trading cards and to provide hand sanitiser.
Many collectors are using social media – such as the Woolworths Minecraft Cubeez Swap Group Australia – to build-up their collections.
