Traffic changes to stay on key road
Temporary traffic and pedestrian arrangements have been extended on a major arterial road which goes under the Bruce Highway.
Due to wet weather, design changes and delays relocating services, the changes on Dohles Rocks Rd, from Goodrich Rd West to the southbound highway entry, remain until October.
How this affects motorists and pedestrians:
Temporary traffic conditions will continue along this section of Dohles Rocks Rd.
Pedestrians are asked to continue using the temporary westbound footpath. Follow the posted signage and use the designated crossing points for safety.
The stairwell connecting the Murrumba Downs Shopping Centre car park to Dohles Rocks Rd will remain closed.
Bus stop 316056 (eastbound) will remain temporarily closed. Passengers should continue using the alternate bus stop, with services rerouted via Goodrich Rd West.
Travel times may be longer than usual, particularly during peak periods.
Road users and pedestrians are encouraged to plan ahead and allow extra time when travelling through the area.
The State Government apologises for any inconvenience and says this will not impact the overall timeline of the Bruce Highway Upgrade from Dohles Rocks Rd to Anzac Ave.
