Lake Samsonvale Water Sports Association is holding a free Open Day with activities for adults and children.
Visitors on Saturday November 8, from 9am to 3pm, can ‘try sailing’ by crewing on one of the association’s many boats or go for a paddle with a range of watercraft.
There will also be radio-controlled yachting and an Amazing Race where team complete fun challenges which puts them into the draw to win prizes.
LSWSA Commodore Paul Rowell will be firing up the barbecue for a free sausage sizzle and give visitors the chance to learn about the association.
A selection of cold drinks, coffee and tea will also be available to buy.
Visitors should bring swimmers and a towel, spray jacket and life jackets if you have them. Some life jackets will be available on the day.
LSWSA has gated access from Austin Rd, Cashmere for water activities for dinghy and catamaran sailing, kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, SUP, windsurfer and radio-controlled yachts.
Further Open Day information is available on the club website www.lswsa.org.au
